Terms of use

  • KopyKat is for people 13 and older. Under 18? Use it with a parent or guardian's OK.
  • Your photos stay yours. We only use them to make your designs.
  • Designs are AI previews, not exact pictures of the finished room.
  • You buy products from the stores, not from us. Prices can change.
  • Be fair: no bots, no tricks to get around the free limits.

  1. 1. Who can use KopyKat

    You must be 13 or older to make an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use KopyKat and to buy anything through it. By using KopyKat you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

  2. 2. Your account

    You sign in with Google. Keep your account to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using it. One person, one account.

  3. 3. Your photos

    You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You let us use them only to run KopyKat for you: to read your room, find products and draw your designs.

    Only upload photos you took or are allowed to use. Please don't upload photos that:

    • show people, especially other people's faces;
    • show private information, like documents or addresses;
    • are violent, sexual, hateful or illegal.

  4. 4. AI designs are previews

    Our designs are made by AI to show the idea. Colors, sizes and details won't always match the real products exactly, and the AI can make mistakes. Check sizes, measurements and your school or landlord's rules before you buy or hang anything. KopyKat isn't professional design, safety or electrical advice.

  5. 5. Shopping

    Products on KopyKat are sold by other stores. When you buy, you buy from that store, under its prices, shipping and return rules. We're not the seller and can't handle orders, returns or refunds.

    We check prices when we add products, but prices and stock change. The store's price at checkout is the real price. Some links earn us a commission; it never changes your price.

  6. 6. Free limits and fair use

    KopyKat is free with weekly limits on custom rooms and drafts, and we may change them. Please don't:

    • use bots, scripts or many accounts, or try to get around the limits;
    • copy or resell the site, its looks or its shopping lists in bulk;
    • try to break, overload or hack the site.

    We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.

  7. 7. Changes and availability

    KopyKat is new and will change. We may add, change or remove features, and the site may sometimes be down. If we change these terms in a big way, we'll let you know on the site.

  8. 8. The legal part

    KopyKat is provided "as is", without promises that it will always work or be error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for products you buy from stores, for decisions you make based on a design, or for indirect losses. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law.
